52 yrs old and is Stronger Now Than Ever Before

Meet 52 yr old, Dionne, and member of Lauren’s Playground ! Dionne is 52 in 2 days and feels stronger than she ever has in her whole life. She started liking training again, after hating it during her basketball days, when she went to grad school and took up running and weights.  Dione says: “My main focus had always been cardio up to this point. I completed two half marathons & then decided never again. I wanted to move on to challenging myself to get strong & lean, not just lean. I've been using your workouts since your 1st DVD and have never looked back. They give me a great workout whenever I need it. I’ve been doing kettlebells with Lauren for at least 6 years and I usually take 3 months off every summer to travel. I started kettlebells because I had lower back problems . Most mornings I could not bend over to put on my pants. I also struggled with emptying the dishwasher. Everyday tasks were problematic for me. I’m also an active person and my back kept me from enjoying many activities. I also had twins at home that needed me to be physically fit to take care of them.   I have been steadily communicating with my 21 Day Squat Challenge participants and to the members of Lauren's Playground.  We had over 800 people join in on the squat challenge this year and I have to say that it turned out to be the best squat challenge in six years, all because of the participants. Meghan's Journey From Mom Pancake Butt To Kettlebell Butt - aka KettleBooty or KettleButt

After going through a divorce it helped me take my power back and learn my own strength"   aka Meghan Incorvaia Meghan struggled with strength most of her life. I'd like to share an email with you that I received out of the blue. I know many people would like to feel comfortable in their own skin. It's ok to have goals for yourself. How Martha Got Her Life Back

This is a true story about Martha, an attorney and mother of 2. Martha suffered from debilitating postpartum depression, 50+ pound weight gain during and after her pregnancy, and many injuries to go with it.  Martha came to me 8 weeks after giving birth to her 2nd baby.  She could  hardly get back up from an assisted Squat or do a push-up against a wall. Fast forward today, she is  squatting with 80+ pounds for reps and can knock out over 15 reps of hard core real MAN pushups.  She can perform a Get Up with a 44lb bell, Double Press the 35lb bells and Double Deadlift 88lb's in each hand. Kettlebells for Injuries?

For the last several years I've shifted my training focus on rehabilitating people. When I first got in to the fitness industry 15 years ago, my main focus was on fat loss, strength, getting lean etc... While it still is a large part, I've learned that I don't have to focus just on those aspects. In fact, by zoning in on real life movement patterns and injury prevention exercises, the fat loss and strength still HAPPEN! My point is, rather than merely train for physical appearance, people are thriving consistently by sticking to their  programs  to reverse the aging clock, stay injury free and enjoy a new found quality of life.
