 Here is a trailer for a documentary that will be releasing any day now.  You can see where it will be playing in your location here.  I definitely plan on seeing this movie.  This couldn't have been coming out at a better time with my new and personal preferences with eating.

I am anxiously awaiting the opening of this movie. I have been a vegetarian for the past 18 years, bordering on vegan and love that this lifestyle is becoming more 'mainstream' giving us much better access to replacement foods, great recipes, choices in restaurants that used to not cater to vegans, and support. I'm still kinda hoping that my food choices one day won't be viewed as a novelty or something to poke fun at...

Watching Forks Over Knives was life-changing for my husband and I. I never dreamed of eating a plant-based diet, never dreamed I'd not want to eat dairy and meat and eggs. Eating better makes me feel great that I'm getting much, much more nutrition from the food I eat. My fatigue and mental fog are gone, my headaches are gone, my joints don't ache. I have lost 21 pounds so far at the rate of about 1 to 2 pounds a week. I am enjoying making many new recipes and trying new foods. Our children are learning to enjoy better quality food, too! An image of what the inside of my arteries must look like keeps me going... I love the idea of reversing inflammation, preventing cancer and heart disease! I wish everyone knew what these researchers have discovered!

I have now been through 2 C-sections since writing this blog post and thankfully I've recovered beautifully from both with the appropriate progressions. For those who are new and are just finding me. 5 Year Blog Anniversary and Giveaway

My blog was born March 10th of 2007, 5 years ago, with this  post  that started it all.  It all started 6 weeks after giving birth to my first baby.  The purpose of this blog was to share my journey of embarking as a new mother recovering from a C-section, lost strength, and fitness.  I wanted to share my struggles and perseverance in getting back to my pre-pregnancy self all while enjoying my new road in to motherhood.  I felt this was an easy and convenient way for friends and family that live all over the world, to see photos of my children and updates about our life.  What an amazing experience it  has been for me.  I never thought blogging my experiences would turn in to so much more.  Through my blogging I got the chance to connect with so many wonderful people around the world.  I never fully understood how powerful the stories would effect so many people.   It's truly been an honor.  Being able to continue to driv...
